The direct support professional will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting, assisting with daily activities such as chores, meal preparation, recreation, learning, and fitness. The dsp must also represent the needs and interests of the individuals served and contribute input to program planning and implementation.

Requirements summary

A high school diploma or ged is required, along with a valid driver's license and at least three years of driving experience. Prior professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred, and basic computer skills are necessary.
