Instructional Support Specialist - CARES School

The specialist will assist in creating structured classroom environments conducive to learning and guiding students toward socially appropriate behaviors while being responsible for the welfare and safety of the children at all times. This role involves working with special education teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs, including ongoing data collection and reinforcement of pbis goals.

A high school diploma is required for this position, though an associate's degree or two years of post-Secondary education is preferred. Previous experience working with students with severe/Complex behavioral/Emotional issues in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting is preferred.
