Childcare Assistant - Summer Camp

Childcare assistants will support the site director by leading daily camp activities, games, and special events, while ensuring a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all campers according to state and company guidelines. They must also communicate daily with families using the playground app and assist with parent orientations.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must satisfy one of several virginia-Approved qualification pathways, which range from holding a bachelor's degree in a child-Related field to having programmatic experience combined with specific certifications or coursework. Candidates must also pass a vdoe background check, be medically cleared, and be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and actively engaging in children's activities.
