Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise students during aftercare hours to ensure safety, positive behavior, and appropriate participation.
- Assist with the implementation of age‑appropriate activities, including games, homework support, and recreational play.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming aftercare environment.
- Support students during transitions, dismissal, and scheduled activities.
- Reinforce school rules, behavior expectations, and program guidelines consistently and respectfully.
- Communicate professionally with aftercare staff, school personnel, and administration regarding student needs or concerns.
- Follow all school policies, diocesan guidelines, and safety procedures.
- Model respectful behavior consistent with Catholic values and school expectations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Experience working with children in a school, childcare, or recreational setting (preferred).
- Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and interact positively with children.
- Strong communication skills, dependability, and patience.
- Ability to supervise groups of students effectively.
