Special Education RISE Co-Teacher - IDEA San Juan Academy (Immediate Opening)

The special education co-Teacher assists in the educational and social development of students with significant cognitive and/Or pervasive developmental disabilities under teacher guidance, focusing on implementing individual education plans and monitoring progress. Responsibilities include supporting students inside and outside the classroom, aiding with daily living tasks like feeding or toileting, and collaborating with related service professionals.

Candidates must possess at least 48 college hours, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and experience working with children with cognitive or pervasive developmental disabilities is strongly preferred. A willingness to pursue special education certification is required, and those with a bachelor's degree can enroll in the idea special education certification program.
