Special Education RISE Teacher - IDEA Brownsville College Prep (26-27)

Special education rise teachers are responsible for adapting lessons, developing and implementing individualized education programs (Ieps), tracking student progress, and coordinating related services for their caseload. They must also provide resources, education, training, and emotional support to the families they serve.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and valid texas state certification in special education, along with appropriate core content certification or competency worksheet. Experience in a special education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities is strongly preferred.
