Temporary Special Ed Classroom Assistant

This role involves assisting special education teachers in reinforcing instruction for disabled students across various needs, adhering strictly to each student's individual education program (Iep). Essential duties include providing one-On-One tutoring, assisting with personal hygiene, positioning students, and helping maintain written records of student behavior.

Candidates must possess a valid tasn (Nclb) paraprofessional license from the illinois state board of education, obtainable after 60 college credit hours or passing an exam. Required knowledge includes characteristics of various disabilities, english grammar, and basic math, along with the ability to follow instructions and complete basic reports.
