Temporary Regular Teacher (9-12 Biology)

The teacher is responsible for the instruction, progress, and discipline of assigned pupils, which includes detailed instructional planning, preparation of lesson plans, and establishing positive learning expectations.

Candidates must have successfully completed all student teaching requirements and coursework necessary for the appropriate illinois state board of education teaching certificate, possessing a valid professional educator license (Pel) or educator license with stipulations (Els). Required knowledge includes subject matter, contemporary teaching practices, and classroom management techniques, along with the ability to modify instruction and communicate effectively.
