The instructor will provide instruction for non-credit Healthcare CNA courses and support faculty by managing supply orders and addressing student inquiries. Additionally, they will coordinate state test applications and troubleshoot technical issues related to the National Healthcareer Association.
Candidates must have an Associate’s degree or higher in nursing, with at least two years of non-teaching work experience in the field, including one year in a long-term care facility. They must also be licensed as a registered nurse in Texas and have experience teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides.

To provide instruction for non-credit Healthcare CNA courses.
Must have an Associate’s degree or higher in nursing and 2 years of non-teaching work experience in the field, with at least 1 year in a long-term care facility. Must be licensed as a registered nurse in Texas. Must have experience or training teaching adult students or supervising nurse aides. Minimum Competencies Strong verbal and written skills for delivering complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard), Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic medical records Understanding how adults learn, including experience in curriculum design, student evaluation, and competency-based instruction. Ability to teach and evaluate hands-on skills in labs or clinical settings. Designing or updating coursework to meet current industry standards. Ability to work with diverse populations. Experience with classroom, laboratory, and web-based delivery methods.
Preferred Competencies Prior experience with adult learners, specifically in community college, vocational, or continuing education settings, is strongly preferred.
