The teacher will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps while implementing evidence-based instructional models and behavior management strategies. They are responsible for developing individualized lesson plans, maintaining student documentation, and tracking progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and possess a valid teaching credential, specifically the CSDE 165 certification. The role requires a commitment to professional feedback, adaptability, and the physical ability to assist students with mobility needs.
