The pharmacy intern performs tasks related to the dispensing, distribution, and third-party insurance billing of medications under pharmacist supervision. They are also responsible for the proper storage, packaging, labeling, and record-keeping of drugs while training to become an outpatient clinical pharmacist.
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy and obtain an Ohio Pharmacy Intern License within 90 days of hire. Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are required.
