- Mary Magdalen Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic and caring Part-Time Summer Camp Counselors to support a faith-based summer program for school-age children.
- Counselors will help create a safe, engaging, and fun environment while promoting the values and mission of Catholic education.
- Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage students during daily camp activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play Assist in planning and leading age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and fun Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment rooted in Catholic values Help with transitions, snack time, and cleanup throughout the day Communicate effectively with fellow staff and camp leadership Address behavioral concerns appropriately and in accordance with school guidelines
Qualifications
High school diploma or current high school/college student preferred Experience working with children in a camp, school, or childcare setting is a plus Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills Reliable, responsible, and energetic Willingness to support the mission and values of Catholic education
Physical Requirements
Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities Ability to stand, walk, and supervise children for extended periods
