Job description

  • Are you a passionate Learning Specialist looking for a school that values the work you believe in? At our Merle-Smith Campus, you'll coach 10–14 upper school students per week - learners with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences, as well as gifted students and high-achievers navigating the demands of a rigorous college-preparatory environment. Through personalized 45-minute sessions, you'll help them build the executive functioning skills, self-monitoring habits, and metacognitive confidence that last well beyond graduation. This isn't remediation. It's transformation. You'll work alongside teachers, partner with families, and serve on our Student Support Team - ensuring every learner has a strategy that works for them. When you help a student plan their week, decode a dense reading passage, or finally believe they are capable of succeeding, you're not just supporting a grade. You're shaping a graduate. We need someone who brings both expertise and empathy. You understand the neuroscience of learning differences and know how to build genuine trust with a teenager who has struggled. You're organized, collaborative, and committed to the professional growth of the colleagues around you.
