- Louis.Job Summary The Summer Camp Aide assists camp staff in providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children participating in summer camp programs.
- The aide supports daily activities, supervises campers, helps with setup and cleanup, and encourages positive participation while maintaining a welcoming and respectful atmosphere.Job Responsibilities Assist counselors and camp staff with daily camp activities and programs Supervise campers during games, crafts, meals, field trips, and recreational activities Help maintain a safe and organized environment Assist with setup, cleanup, and preparation of activity materials and equipment Encourage positive behavior and inclusion among campers Follow camp schedules, safety procedures, and behavior guidelines Assist with attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and camper transitions Provide support during special events and themed activities Communicate concerns or incidents to camp supervisors promptly Job Requirements Enjoy working with children in a group setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Responsible, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards Prior experience working with children preferred but not required CPR/First Aid certification preferred The Archdiocese of St.
