Job Description
Adjunct faculty are appointed to supplement a department’s teaching needs when additional instructors are required. These positions are non-tenure-track and are defined by the terms outlined in the appointment letter. With approval from the Dean, adjunct appointments may be renewed. Adjunct appointments do not guarantee course assignments.
Required Qualifications
Adjuncts in the School of Social Work must hold an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program. To teach clinical practice courses, two-years post-MSW experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching at the university level or conducting professional trainings is preferred. To teach clinical practice courses, LCSW is preferred.
