Support students who are blind or visually impaired in developing academic, social, vocational, and independent living skills. Assist instructors with classroom lessons, community outings, and the use of assistive technology.
A high school diploma is required, and a valid New Jersey driver's license is mandatory. Candidates pursuing degrees in Special Education or Human Services and those with experience working with disabled youth are preferred.

Candidates pursuing a degree in Special Education, Visual Impairment Studies, Education, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with transition-aged youth, students with disabilities, or young adults preferred. Valid New Jersey driver's license required, with no more than five (5) points. Must successfully complete all required background screenings, including criminal history checks, Central Registry checks, CARI screenings, and applicable drug testing requirements. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment. Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required.
