The coach is responsible for developing practice plans, competition strategies, and fostering character and teamwork among middle school cross country athletes. Duties include supervising students during travel, maintaining attendance and statistics, and ensuring all safety and medical protocols are followed.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required for this position. Candidates must be willing to complete mandated coaching certifications, including First Aid, CPR, and concussion training.
