Direct Support Professional

Direct support professionals ensure the safety and health of individuals attending the day program while supervising, coaching, and assisting them in achieving daily living goals like cooking and cleaning. Responsibilities also include planning and documenting programs to meet social, emotional, and physical needs, as well as facilitating community outings and providing transportation.

Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or ged, be at least 18 years old, and hold a valid non-Provisional driver's license. Essential soft skills include being empathetic and maintaining a team-Oriented approach to care.
