PTFFC Peer Support Specialist

The peer support specialist provides ongoing support to children and foster families by modeling empathetic conversation grounded in evidence-Based practices like tbri and together facing the challenge. This role involves assessing needs, augmenting emotional and psychological support, assisting with education, and teaching families skills to navigate challenging times.

Candidates must have an associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field and two years of experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral and emotional disorders. Additional requirements include a valid texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and passing background checks, drug tests, and providing employment references.
