Pharmacy Intern, General Pharmacy

The pharmacy intern performs advanced technician-Level duties under pharmacist supervision, focusing on developing competency in patient care, drug purchasing, medication history, counseling, and distribution functions. Essential functions include customer service, completing pharmacist duties like monitoring therapies and resolving drug-Related problems, and participating in teaching and precepting trainees.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy and possess a current, active pharmacy intern license from the ohio pharmacy board, along with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree or equivalent advancement is required, while prior experience as a pharmacy intern is preferred.
