Sterile Processing Education Coordinator - Community Hospitals

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing a standardized program for orientation, continuing education, and competency assessment for staff involved in reprocessing reusable medical devices across university hospitals' community hospitals. Key duties include developing educational materials, monitoring staff competency, performing quality checks, and acting as a liaison for sterile processing clinical rotations.

Candidates must possess a high school equivalent/Ged and have at least four years of directly related work experience in a hospital central sterile processing environment, with a preference for prior csp departmental supervisor or educator experience. Required certifications include crcst, cspdt, or hspa, along with demonstrated proficiency in aami st79 standards.
