Direct Support Provider

Direct support providers are responsible for teaching and fostering skills necessary for an individual's work and community participation, often originating from the home and delivered in the community. This includes providing one-On-One support such as job training, assistance with daily living activities, and facilitating participation in recreational and community activities.

Candidates must have experience working with young adults who have developmental disabilities and must demonstrate reliability and punctuality. Specific tasks include teaching cooking, assisting with public transportation navigation, participating in community outings, teaching money management, and supporting community volunteering.
