Core responsibilities

The intern will assist teaching and clinical staff in implementing lessons and tasks according to individual education programs (Ieps) in various settings, including supervising students at community job sites and providing job-Coaching services. Duties also involve participating in the development of curriculum content and behavior intervention strategies, collecting performance data, and maintaining therapeutic relationships with students.

Requirements summary

Candidates must commit to working from early june through late august and possess a valid driver's license, passing rigorous background checks including fingerprint screening. Enrollment or plans to enroll in special education, human services, or a clinical specialty supporting autistic individuals is strongly preferred, as is prior experience as a para-Professional or teacher’s aide.
