School nurse (Rn) residential program

The school nurse is responsible for the overall monitoring of student health and safety, coordinating staff and daily activities to meet these needs, and implementing a comprehensive school/Residential health program consistent with massachusetts guidelines and regulations. Duties also include preparing and training staff on medication administration, coordinating mandated state health programs, and maintaining comprehensive health records.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a valid registered nurse (Rn) license in massachusetts, with a dese school nurse license being a plus; consideration may be given to an lpn with relevant experience. A minimum of two years of nursing experience covering general nursing, supervision, and staff training is required, along with current cpr, first aid, and safety care certifications.
