Core responsibilities
The residential counselor will provide one-To-One support and supervision to adolescents struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues while maintaining vigilance over the milieu for safety. Responsibilities also include engaging in activities with clients, facilitating psycho-Education groups, performing crisis interventions, and assisting with daily life skills.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or ged is required, though college coursework or a bachelor's degree is preferred, and candidates must be at least 21 years old.
