Core responsibilities
The residential counselor will provide one-To-One support and supervision to adolescents struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues while maintaining vigilance over their safety and activities. This role includes engaging clients in activities, facilitating psycho-Education groups, performing crisis interventions, and assisting with daily life skills.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, be at least 21 years old, and be flexible and reliable team players capable of maintaining professional boundaries. Experience working with teens or in a behavioral healthcare setting is preferred, and all schedules require working at least one weekend shift.
