School social worker - Whitney hall school

The school social worker will provide individual counseling and social-Emotional support aligned with iep goals, completing necessary assessments and safety planning as required. This role also involves collaborating with the treatment team and coordinating care with families, school districts, and outside agencies from admission through discharge.

Candidates must hold or be immediately eligible to obtain the connecticut licensed master of social work (Lmsw) and the connecticut department of education social worker certification (#071). Strong skills in documentation, communication, collaboration, and responding to urgent crisis situations are essential.
