Counselor

The counselor manages assigned student caseloads, delivering comprehensive case management services to ensure successful acclimation, goal development, and improvement of employability skills for program completion. Essential functions include conducting scheduled career and personal counseling sessions, maintaining confidential files, monitoring student progress via information systems, and leading evaluations.

A minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree, which must include 15 semester hours of social services-Related instruction, along with one year of experience in counseling or a related field. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience in counseling or a related field and two years working with youth, plus a valid driver's license.
