Regional Director of Exceptional Student Services This is a Full-Time 10-month position.
Essential position functions
Demonstrated knowledge of Louisiana Speech, Language, Hearing Specialist Demonstrated ability to access resources needed to support students in a wide variety of areas of need. Proven leadership/ coordination skills Demonstrated ability to build and work with a team, harmoniously, toward common goals. Highly developed planning and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Belief that every student will learn Proven ability to use interventions and individualization strategies to increase student learning. Communicate and collaborate with other teachers and school administrators Motivate and support students in reaching high levels of personal and academic success; including proactively collaborating with the dean of student culture and social worker to address attendance concerns. Create a positive student culture around online and small group learning Maintain frequent communication with students and their support network regarding academic progress Dress professionally and uphold all school policies Perform other duties, as deemed appropriate, by the principal

Education License with Speech, Language, Hearing Specialist, with Louisiana eligibility Master’s Degree Preferred Experience in the field of Speech Therapy Proven determination for student success At least two years of successful teaching in an urban environment
