Early Head Start Teacher

The teacher must plan and implement developmentally and linguistically appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers, focusing on intellectual, physical, and social-Emotional growth while adhering to head start standards and regulations. Key duties include collaborating with parents, documenting child development, providing service coordination for special needs children, and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Candidates must possess a high school degree or ged along with a child development associate (Cda) certification, and maintain current first aid and cpr certifications. Preferred qualifications include two years of related experience in an early head start setting, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations while meeting physical demands like lifting 60 pounds.
