Behavioral Health Specialist 1

The behavioral health specialist i is responsible for providing care and safety to children and adolescents, participating in the development and implementation of therapeutic plans, and maintaining a safe environment. They engage with patients, document observations, and assist in daily living activities while adhering to hospital policies.

A baccalaureate degree in a human service field is preferred, along with six months to one year of direct childcare work with emotionally impaired youth. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care across the lifespan and maintain certifications in crisis management and cpr.
