Chess Instructor | Spring

Instructors will lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students using a structured curriculum to teach fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship. This involves managing the classroom positively, encouraging critical thinking, and adhering to all school safety protocols while traveling to various local school sites.

Candidates must have prior experience working with groups of children, such as teaching or coaching, and be comfortable leading sessions independently with an upbeat and engaging demeanor. A strong grasp of chess fundamentals is required, along with reliable personal transportation and availability on weekday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm to teach 1 to 5 classes weekly.
