2026-27 Elementary Assistant Teacher

The assistant classroom teacher will collaborate with lead teachers to create safe and intellectually challenging learning environments, supporting the development and execution of innovative lesson plans aligned with state standards and the el education curriculum. Responsibilities also include building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and modeling one city's habits of character.

Essential qualifications include a high school diploma (Associate degree or some college preferred), a deep commitment to the school's mission and diverse student populations, and proficiency with microsoft office. Candidates must also possess excellent judgment, creative problem-Solving abilities, and the physical capacity to lift 50 pounds.
