Upper School English Teacher

The teacher will plan, assess, and teach english to upper school students, including participation in the coordinated tri-School program, and will be responsible for designing learning targets and scope and sequence as part of curriculum mapping. Essential duties also include building strong classroom communities, engaging in ongoing professional growth, and serving as an academic advisor.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in english or a related field, with a minimum of three years of demonstrated excellence in teaching, and preferably a graduate degree with secondary expertise in another field. Required abilities include integrating technology, experience with inquiry-Based learning, commitment to culturally competent teaching, and outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.
