Middle/Upper School Chinese Teacher - 80%

The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing instruction for four sections of chinese at the middle and upper school levels, striving to actively engage students in language learning to master skills and build cultural understanding. A key goal is communication, utilizing authentic and unabridged materials, while collaborating closely with world language department colleagues.

Core qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, preferably in chinese, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and the ability to integrate technology and use student-Centered pedagogies. Candidates should also be familiar with giving and receiving feedback and possess flexibility for collaboration and experimentation.
