Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians provide direct one-On-One applied behavior analysis (Aba) therapy to pediatric clients, implementing treatment plans developed by supervising board certified behavior analysts (Bcbas). This involves supporting skill development in communication, social interaction, and daily living while accurately collecting and documenting behavioral data.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and compassion, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and pass background checks. While registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification is preferred, paid training toward certification is provided for new behavior technician (Bt) candidates.
