The outreach coordinator performs complex student services professional work by providing comprehensive academic advising services to students, handling case management, and coordinating outreach services like student recruitment and college placement for ats participants. The incumbent collaborates with advisors, university staff, faculty, and administrators to support the educational experience and academic success of the students.

A minimum requirement is graduation from a four-Year college or university in a related field, typically demonstrated by three years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience. Required experience includes two years working with trio or similar academic support programs, specifically serving low-Income, first-Generation minority, or disadvantaged students.
