Program Assistant

The primary function involves supervising students under teacher direction, assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (Ieps), and executing behavior intervention plans and medical protocols. Responsibilities also include ensuring student safety, utilizing appropriate behavior management techniques, and maintaining accurate records and data collection.

Candidates must possess an associate of arts degree, 45 related college credits, or successfully pass the para pro assessment, along with training or supervised experience in instructing and caring for children. Experience working as part of a team is also required, though related experience or education may substitute for specified requirements at the discretion of the personnel officer.
