Classroom Aide

The classroom aide supports the teaching team by helping to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for child growth and development, incorporating the organization's mission and values into daily work. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom setup, material selection, and addressing the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional needs of the children according to head start standards.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and demonstrate the ability to use necessary computer systems and software. The role requires the ability to relate effectively with diverse groups, model professional behavior, and meet physical demands including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs irregularly.
