Mental Health Technician

The mental health technician participates in direct client care and implements treatment plans, providing supervision, safety, and crisis management for children and adolescents in the program. Responsibilities include documenting client behavior, adhering to schedules, serving as a positive role model, and utilizing proactive behavioral strategies to support client success.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma with six months of direct care experience, an associate's degree with three months of experience, or a bachelor's degree in a human service field. A valid driver's license with an acceptable record and moderate computer skills are also mandatory.
