Occupational therapist

The occupational therapist will provide students with sound clinical programs tailored to their needs as outlined in their individual education plan (Iep), conducting sessions individually or in groups. Responsibilities also include ongoing consultation and training for classroom staff to ensure therapeutic program carryover and working closely with parents on home programs.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and an active nys occupational therapy license or being in pursuit of one. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in occupational therapy and prior professional experience in the field.
