Core responsibilities
The coordinator is responsible for coordinating alternative media production and providing instruction and technical assistance regarding assistive and instructional computer technologies for students and employees with disabilities. This role also provides campus-Wide leadership regarding rights and responsibilities related to assistive technology and alternative media under ada and section 504.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and three years of experience working with assistive technology for students, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required knowledge includes familiarity with disability accommodation strategies, state/National standards for equal access, and clear understanding of section 504 and the ada.
