SEASONAL- Camp Behavior Support Coordinator (Camp)- Western YMCA Family Location

The coordinator will assist in de-Escalating daily behavioral incidents and implement preventative social-Emotional strategies, providing training and modeling support for counselors on managing diverse camper challenges. Responsibilities also include intervening with campers, creating behavior strategies, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with parents and staff for positive outcomes.

Candidates need a minimum of 1-3 years of child-Related work experience, specifically involving children with emotional or behavioral concerns, and an understanding of positive behavior approaches. Experience with children on the autism spectrum and a relevant degree in behavioral/Social sciences or education is preferred.
