Head Start Assistant Teacher @ Union, Pottawatomie County

The assistant teacher is responsible for creating and managing an attractive, warm, and challenging learning environment for young children. This includes incorporating developmentally appropriate learning activities that meet the needs of both the group and individual children.

Candidates need a minimum of one year of early childhood experience in a licensed program along with college credits, or a current child development associate (Cda) credential. A valid driver's license is required, along with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and knowledge of head start performance standards.
