Nursing Professional Development Specialist

The specialist will design, implement, and evaluate educational programs focused on clinical competency, orientation, and continuing education for nursing staff. This role involves collaborating with leadership to assess learning needs and serving as a mentor to guide nurses in evidence-Based practice and quality improvement initiatives.

A current and valid connecticut rn license and graduation from an accredited nursing program are required, along with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in medical/Surgical or critical care inpatient specialties. A master of science in nursing (Msn) is strongly preferred, and candidates without one must be actively pursuing it.
