- Overview Boston Parks & Recreation's youth recreation series and events improve quality of life and economic balance by providing convenient, free, quality, instructional, and team-building programs to underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. These programs serve a variety of demographics, including at-risk populations and children whose families cannot afford summer sports camps, leagues, or sports-specific programs. They offer a vital opportunity to bring safe and enriching activities to the parks in these densely populated areas. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day activities. - Provide direct supervision of program participants at all sites. - Help with planning and scheduling site programming. - Maintain an inventory of equipment and materials. - Keep accurate records of attendance for program participants.
