Core responsibilities
Key responsibilities include conducting compliant assessments and evaluations to determine educational eligibility, developing and maintaining compliant individualized education programs (Ieps), and coordinating treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members. The role also involves consulting with team members and families, overseeing speech language pathologist assistants (Slpas), and maintaining accurate records of student progress using research-Based data.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a current speech language pathologist license for the state of service delivery or eligibility to obtain one, along with necessary department of education certification if applicable. Preferred experience is one year in speech therapy, though clinical fellows and retirees are encouraged to apply, and applicants must pass required background checks and be eligible to work in the us.
