Early childhood aide instructor substitute

The early childhood aide instructor substitute will support individuals with disabilities in daily life within a classroom setting, assisting with daily living activities and collaborating closely with the lead teacher and team members. Key duties include setting up materials, assisting with bussing, implementing behavior plans, and supervising children during activities.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a minimum of 6 college credits, along with obtaining nys level i teaching assistant certification within six months of starting the position. Essential physical abilities include modifying areas for safety, lifting/Transporting children up to 30 pounds, moving quickly to prevent elopement, maneuvering the classroom environment, and following directions.
