RN Educator, Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, ED

The rn educator collaborates with leadership and the professional development department to enhance patient care quality and nursing practice through facilitating clinical education, professional development, and competency initiatives. This role involves serving as a clinical expert, learning facilitator, consultant, change agent, leader, and interprofessional collaborator within a specific area of responsibility.

Candidates must possess a bachelor of science in nursing and a minimum of two years as a registered nurse in the emergency department, along with an active kentucky rn license. Required certifications include professional nursing certification in the clinical specialty (Obtainable within six months) and american heart association bls provider, with other resuscitation certifications based on specialty.
