Respiratory Therapy Intern, Jewish Hospital, PRN

Under direct supervision, the intern will provide patient care allowed by their student license, including administering non-Medicated and aerosolized therapies, oxygen therapy, and incentive spirometry. The role also involves cleaning equipment, performing bronchial hygiene, assisting in resuscitation attempts, and performing electrocardiograms.

Candidates must have completed at least one year of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program with a minimum 2.0 gpa, which must be maintained throughout employment. Required credentials include a limited mandatory certificate from the kentucky board of respiratory care and basic life support (Bls) certification from the aha.
